How to become a client!
There are two ways to become our client and to adopt a High or a Low:
you can directly adopt a vortex or you can buy a High or Low by auction.
1. Direct adoption
You can directly adopt a High or Low from us. Choose a free letter from the
lists of all Highs and Lows. If your selected letter is indicated with “frei”,
click “frei” to download the application in form of a PDF. Please print it,
fill it out and send it back to us by post or fax. Please note: we cannot
consider an application that is not filled out properly.
Provided you are the first applicant and the chosen name complies to the rules,
we confirm your application. Only then your are a client of ours and a High or
Low will obtain the name you chose. Due to the large number of pressure systems
there are several turns through the alphabet. Thus there are several Highs and
Lows beginning with the same letter in a year. If there is more than one application
for the last free letter, we will consider the first one we received.
If nobody wants to adopt a free letter that should be used in the weather charts
in the near future it will either be named by the meteorologist or it will be sold
at the internet-auctioneer eBay.
2. ebay-auction
A letter that is sold by auction is indicated with the word “ebay”. If you click on
the word “ebay” you automatically will be taken to the auction. Here the usual rules
of auctions apply as published by ebay.
After you have successfully purchased “your” letter by auction we will pass on the
application form using the data provided by ebay. Please fill it out and send back to
us. Please note: We can only process the application if the form is complete.
Subsequently you will receive a conformation from us.
Currently there are no eBay-auctions.
